The Cure of All Fears

The Cure of All Fears is an animated short film based on my own obsessive thoughts and phobias. I have applied several of these fears to a middle-aged man who has suffered from specific phobias, for his entire adult life, something that has limited his existence.

One day, he receives a package through the post: a packet containing something special he has ordered. However, he encounters somewhat of a problem when trying to open it – to say the least.

This animation is also a tribute to early Swedish animation, both in the way it is made and in its stylistic approach. “Kalles Klätterträd” by Olof Landström and Peter Cohen is a particularly strong inspiration.
